    About Me

    Hi! My name is Liz Cipolla and I love all things food. I love cooking, eating and creating new recipes. In addition to creating new recipes, I also love to share my family recipes that we use over and over again as well as use combinations of recipes and pick my favorite ingredients from each to create something delicious.

    I married into a wonderful Italian family who thankfully also loves food and boy do they know how to cook! My last name is now Cipolla, which also translates to "onion" in Italian so I knew the name "The Savory Cipolla" fit perfectly. Prior to meeting my husband Nicco, I basically only knew how to cook ramen noodles and mac and cheese. After slowly introducing me to new foods I started experimenting cooking with different ingredients and developed a passion for it. Nothing fills me with more joy than seeing someone enjoy something I cooked for them.

    Now that we have our hands full with two toddler boys, I have to be even more creative with recipes. They may be small but they have very high standards when it comes to food.
